A new study has discovered the star signs that are the most skilled gamers, with Cancers coming in first place.

Rust unboxing site RustClash analyzed the birthdays of the highest-earning professional gamers to discover their star signs. They ranked the star signs from most to least to determine the ones best at gaming.

Cancers top the ranking as the best gamers out of all the star signs. These gamers are born between June 21 and July 22 and make up 10.34% of all professional gamers analyzed, which is 51 in total.

Gemini gamers come in second place, as 46 were found on the list, making up 9.33% of professional gamers. Geminis are born between May 21 and June 20.

In third place are Taurus gamers, born between April 20 and May 20. The analysis consisted of 44 Taurus gamers, which is 8.92% of the gamers under this star sign.

Fourth place belongs to Capricorn gamers, with 43 found in the analysis, equal to 8.72% of professional gamers. Capricorns are those born between December 22 and January 19.

Leos are the fifth-best gamers in the world, as the analysis consisted of 42 Leo gamers, meaning 8.52% of professional gamers are this star sign. Leos are born from July 23 until August 22.

Scorpios (October 23 – November 21), Pisces (February 19 – March 20), and Aries (March 21 – April 19) are tied for sixth place. Together, they make up 7.91% of professional gamers, or 39 gamers each.

Tying for seventh place are the Libra and Sagittarius gamers, as they both make up just 7.71% of professionals, meaning there are 38 of both in the analysis. Libras are born between September 23 and October 22, and Sagittarius from November 22 to December 21.

Lastly, Virgo and Aquarius are the least skilled gamers, as only 37 were found in the analysis. Both make up only 7.51% of professional gamers. Virgos are born between August 23 and September 22, and Aquarius is from January 20 to February 18.

Methodology

Date of birth data on the 500 highest-earning professional gamers worldwide was scraped from eSportsearnings.com. Each player’s date of birth was then used to find their corresponding astrological star sign.

The number of players for each star sign was then counted and used to rank the star signs from most to least.

Some players had no date of birth data available and were excluded from the analysis. This is why the sum of all star signs equals 493. 7 of the 500 gamers scraped had no date of birth data available.
