Space Jam: A New Legacy and Other Sports-Themed Movies 

Fans have waited for more than 20 years to see the remarkable return of the Looney Tunes. However, this time they will see them alongside one of the greatest basketball players of all time, LeBron James. Besides swapping out its protagonist, the new sequel will jump into the virtual space and incorporates an array of wacky and modern twists.

Space Jam 

What better way to start than the original Space Jam which brought the sports stars and the evergreen animation characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Sylvester. With the iconic Michael Jordan starring in this movie, the film was an instant hit among fans. 

The movie tracks the events of the temporary retirement of Jordan from basketball. In the movie, Jordan battles a squad of aliens for the talent of his contemporary NBA All-Stars. More Than a Game 

Few things can attract fans more than a chronicle of the journey of LeBron James to the pinnacle of basketball. This documentary produced in 2008 gives an account of the pursuit of the national championship by a high school basketball team, St. Vincent and St.Mary's.

This movie keys in on LeBron and four teammates. Dry Joyce, Sian Cotton, Romeo Travis, and Willie McGee were all high school teammates of LeBron. In this documentary, they share the story of their early days concurrently in tandem with the fast-rising profile of LeBron. Seeing the start of his story will make fans appreciate the new Space Jam more because they will see a man enjoying everything his hard work has brought to him.

The Way Back 

Another movie about basketball, but this time or have nothing to do with LeBron or animation characters. The movie is about a former high school basketball star who becomes a coach of his old high school team. Legendary Hollywood star Ben Affleck stars in this amazing movie. 

Each basketball scene is well put together to produce a breathtaking movie. However, The Way Back is more than just about basketball. It is more about a personal struggle of a man, a person who needs sports as a reason to keep living. 

Here is a movie that keeps sports in the proper perspective – it is here to help, but the hard work is what you have to do yourself if you want to get what you want out of it. Produced in 2020 by Gavin O'Connor, it does have the comic effect of Space Jam, but it takes a serious look at sports athletes who may have lost their way outside the sports, suggests how they can find themselves. Movies like these are not just informative but also inculcate the top betting trends across each sport for the bettor’s delight.

Even though Will Smith couldn’t show Ali rhyming, boasting, and conquering nature fully (nobody can), he gave enough to show how good best boxer of his generation was at his prime. 

Bend It Like Beckham 

Here is an inspirational movie about female soccer. It is a story of two ladies who wish to play soccer but face opposition from both their parents and the culture of their society. Anyone who watches this movie will appreciate the passion these women showed in pursuing their dream. Hence, it will serve as a motivation to chase what you believe in, no matter how difficult to may look to pursue it. 

The movie has a cheerful appeal, and fans have appreciated the big-hearted nature of the production. First produced in 2003 and starring Keira Knightley (Atonement) alongside Parminder Nagra, it was one of the best sports-themed movies of the last decade.
