AWARDS: Winners of 15th Annual Internet Film Critic Society Awards

The Internet Film Critic Society, of which I am a voting member flying the Every Movie Has a Lesson flag, announced the winners of their 15th Annual Movie Awards, giving the top honor to Todd Field’s TAR. Ana de Armas won the Best Actress prize for the film Blonde.

Other awards went to The Banshees of Inisherin (Best Comedy), Top Gun: Maverick (Best Action Film), and Everything Everywhere All at Once (Best Experimental Film). Brendan Fraser picked up the award for Best Actor for his performance in The Whale, and The Outfit won the award for Most Underrated Film of the Year.

Best Drama: TAR

Best Comedy: The Banshees of Inisherin

Best Horror or Science Fiction Film: Crimes of the Future

Best Action Film: Top Gun: Maverick

Best Actor: Brendan Fraser for The Whale

Best Actress: Ana de Armas for Blonde

Best Director: Steven Spielberg for The Fabelmans

Best Experimental Film: Everything Everywhere All at Once

Most Underrated Film: The Outfit

Worst Film of the Year: The Munsters
