3 Movies to Watch in the Same Breath

Every day you're faced with the problem of choosing a movie to watch tonight and your pick becomes as random as the results of playing at CasinoChan Canada? We've chosen 3 movies for you to make sure you'll be able to make a quick decision today. These masterpieces never let go, from the first frame to the last.

Memento

Leonard Shelby was once an insurance salesman working his way up the ladder. But one day, after a serious head injury, the hero lost his long-term memory. At the same time, thanks to the reminders left behind, Leonard several times a day recalls the tragic death of his murdered wife and his own desire for revenge. The hero learns to use the materials at hand: tattoos, notes, snapshots to finally reach his goal and destroy the murderer.

Christopher Nolan's thriller is one of his best works. Almost immediately after the first screenings of the picture at international festivals, the rights to the film were successfully sold to many foreign distributors, and the distribution was tremendous. Even two years after its premiere, the movie continued to be popular with audiences - a special edition on DVD was even released in Britain, where it was possible to watch the film based on the chronological sequence of events as an additional feature.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

This story unfolds simultaneously across several time periods, capturing the viewer's attention at once. Somewhere far away in the mountains resides Mustafa Zero, the wealthy owner of the popular Grand Budapest Hotel. Few people know that many years ago he was just a young assistant concierge Gustav and never even dreamed of the status of owner. To tell Mustafa's story, we will have to look back in time. To make it easier for the viewer to navigate between time periods, the film is shot in three different screen aspect ratios.

In 2015, the movie won several prestigious film awards: a Golden Globe, four Oscar statuettes and five British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards. The premiere screening at the Berlin Film Festival brought the film the Grand Jury Prize. And today this movie is one of the author's most important works.

Pulp Fiction

Few people aren't familiar with this iconic Quentin Tarantino film, but if you've been putting off watching Pulp Fiction for a long time, consider this selection a sign from above - now is the time. The film won the Oscar for Best Screenplay and the Palme d'Or at Cannes. It grossed a record $214 million at the worldwide box office and remains the director's top film. The title is a reference to the paperback tabloid novels popular in America in the last century, so it was decided to design the posters, videotapes and DVDs of the film in exactly this style.

"Pulp Fiction" comprises three stories telling the life events of two members of a criminal gang, Vincent and Jules, who do the dirty work for their boss, Marcellus Wallace, as well as the people with whom fate brings them together.
